He leads technology and product: the three websites, then Requot, were designed under his direction.
It all starts with Import Menuiserie, our company in Pommerit-le-Vicomte, in the Côtes-d'Armor. We sell made-to-measure joinery — windows, doors, patio doors, roof windows — made by European factories and delivered all over France.
To sell them online, we built three websites: import-menuiserie.com, our main storefront; fenetre-plus.fr, the shop for made-to-measure windows and doors; fenetre-toit.fr, dedicated to roof windows.
Every order took the same detour. The factory sent us its quote, with its references, its purchase prices, its layout. And we redid the quote for our customer by hand: our prices, our margin, our VAT, our logo, our legal wording. Hundreds of times. Often in the evening.
Faced with all those factory quotes, we had to redo the customer quote every single time. That is where the idea came from.
Requot was born from that lost quarter of an hour. A tool that takes the supplier's quote and hands back the customer quote, ready to send. We built it for ourselves, then opened it to every tradesperson living the same thing: joiners, installers, electricians, plumbers, kitchen fitters.
This is where the factory quotes arrive, and where the idea came from.
