Requot uses Google Analytics to count visits, and the Meta pixel to measure its ads. Nothing is stored without your consent.
This document describes what Requot does, what it does not do, and what each party owes the other. It is short because the service is.
These terms govern the use of the service available at requot.io, published by Import Menuiserie (the legal notice gives its full identity). Creating an account constitutes acceptance of these terms.
You upload the quote your supplier sent you. Requot reads its lines, applies your rules – your margin, your tax rates, your rounding – adds your own services, and produces your customer quote as a PDF, with your identity and your numbering. You can send it from the service or download it.
Requot does nothing else. It is not invoicing software, not bookkeeping, not a customer database in the commercial sense, and not a management tool. Nor does the service advise you on your prices, your tax rates or your obligations: it applies the rules you give it.
Requot is intended for professionals acting in the course of their business: tradespeople, installers, resellers, construction and fit-out companies. It is not intended for consumers, and the provisions of the French Consumer Code specific to contracts concluded with consumers do not apply to it.
An account is opened with an email address and a password, or with a Google account. One account corresponds to one business and one person: login details are not to be shared.
The free plan includes 1 quotes a month, with no time limit and no card required. Beyond that, three monthly subscriptions: €19.00 for 20 quotes, €39.00 for 50, €79.00 for 120.
A supplier quote is read automatically. The reading is right most of the time; it is never guaranteed: a description may be copied wrongly, a quantity misread, a line missed, a price shifted by one row.
You must check every line, every quantity, every price and every total before sending a quote to your customer. The service shows you the result of the reading for that precise reason: correcting it is part of the process, not an option.
The quote you send is your document. It binds you towards your customer, and Requot does not take your place in that relationship. We are liable neither for a reading error you failed to correct, nor for the commercial consequences of a quote that has been sent.
The supplier quotes you upload, your logo, your pricing rules, your customers and the quotes produced remain yours. We acquire no rights over them.
Normal use, in good faith. The following in particular are excluded: attempting to access accounts or data that are not yours, circumventing the limits of your plan, automating bulk uploads, or uploading documents you have no right to use.
An account that departs from these rules may be suspended, for as long as it takes to talk it over, then closed if necessary. We will give notice by email, except in an emergency.
We do our best to keep the service accessible, without committing to a guaranteed rate. Interruptions may occur for maintenance, or because of a provider the service depends on – hosting, payment, email delivery, document reading. We announce them when we can foresee them.
The contract runs for as long as the account exists. You can close yours at any time from your profile: the current subscription is cancelled with Stripe, the uploaded files are erased, and so is the account with everything it contains – business, customers, quotes, documents, readings.
For our part, we may close an account that has long been inactive, or that breaches article 8, after informing you at the account's email address.
We are liable for the service we provide: its reasonable availability, the safekeeping of your data, and the consistency of what we charge with what we announce.
We are not liable for the consequences of a quote drawn up with the service and sent without checking, for incorrect information you may have entered, or for any indirect loss – a lost job, lost margin, damage to reputation. In any event, and except in the case of gross negligence or wilful misconduct, our liability is limited to the sums you have paid us over the last twelve months.
The details are set out in the privacy policy, which forms an integral part of these terms. It specifies in particular that the details of your own customers belong to you, and that we process them on your behalf.
These terms may change along with the service. A significant change will be announced to you by email, at your account's address, at least fifteen days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that date constitutes acceptance; otherwise, you can close your account, free of charge.
French law applies. The courts of Saint-Brieuc have exclusive jurisdiction. Before any proceedings, write to us at contact@requot.io: most disagreements are settled that way.
